The creepy Beholder is a very rare monster. It has one central eye, often red, and it has tentacles that have eyes attached at the end. It has a large mouth full of teeth. Two rows of teeth on each jaw. The Beholder is similar to a shark in that when a tooth falls out or breaks, it grows another tooth, sharper than the previous tooth that it lost. The Beholder is known to live in dark, damp habitats and can be quite aggressive. It is rumored that anyone who looks directly into the central eye will be paralyzed by fear and unable to move even a finger.
Size: Adult Beholders range in size from about one meter in diameter to two and a half meters in diameter. Baby Beholders are quite smaller, roughly the size of a size four soccer ball.
Color: Beholders are typically grey in color, but a few Beholders have been spotted to be several shades of brown.
Attack Method: The attack method of the Beholder is quite simplistic. The Beholder locks eyes with prey and wins the staring contest; instilling a crippling and paralyzing fear into the unfortunate victim. Then, while its prey is paralyzed, it eats its food alive.
